A contemporary four-bedroom coastal home designed by a leading Auckland architectural practice. Luxco delivered the complete electrical package including architectural lighting design throughout, a Lutron whole-home dimming system, and a 15kW solar array with Tesla Powerwall battery storage. Architectural New Build — Matakana

Scope: Integrated electrical, solar, and home automation for a premium rural property

A 380sqm home set among native bush, designed to maximise natural light while maintaining off-grid capability. Luxco worked alongside the architect from concept stage to integrate a Control4 smart home system controlling lighting scenes, motorised blinds, multi-room audio, HVAC, and security. A 20kW solar system with 40kWh BYD battery bank provides near-complete energy independence.

Heritage Renovation — Devonport, North Shore

Scope: Electrical upgrade and solar retrofit for a character villa

A careful rewire and modernisation of a 1920s character villa on Auckland's North Shore. The project required preserving period features while bringing the electrical infrastructure up to modern standards. A discreetly mounted 8kW solar system was integrated into the existing slate roof without altering the streetscape.

Scope: Off-grid solar and electrical system for a luxury vineyard property

A remote Waiheke Island property with no mains power connection. Luxco designed and installed a fully off-grid power system combining a 25kW solar array, 60kWh battery storage, and a backup diesel generator with automatic changeover. The system powers the main residence, a guest cottage, wine cellar climate control, and irrigation systems.
